Blogging: the new way to attract 

Blogs started as a way for people to share their life through words with an online audience. It has become a major part of any successful business. Why? Because people want to taste before they buy!

Especially in the world of Tao and Tantra, many participants want to get a feel for their teacher before they sign up. Fair enough! You can reach them with a blog long before they even sign up for your courses.

So why not get writing and give your potential participants a taste of what you offer?

Which platform?

It's not just about writing, but displaying your fine work to the world! There is no point writing a masterpiece and then posting it somewhere that only 3 people get to see it! There are three main choices for platforms:
  1. create your own
  2. write for a large established platform
  3. join a team of bloggers on the same subject

There is also the ubiquitous Facebook....but we suggest publishing to a blog site first and then sharing it on Facebook. This is because posts get lost in Facebook over time, but blogs can be more easily reposted. Let's take a look at the three options:

Create your own

You can make your own blog from scratch, and Wordpress are by far the best platform for this. It takes some basic wordpress skills to manage.
This is really worth doing if you already have a large established mailing list. You can then share your blog.
If you are starting from scratch, then you will also need some marketing skills or to hire someone to do that for you.

Write for a platform

There are many established platforms for writers such as:If you are a good writer then you might want to apply to be published on one of these. However, you will still need to use marketing skills to spread your article around and help it to be seen.
By the way, choose a platform your resonate with. You are attracting in those who are in harmony with you!

Join a team
